Ghillidary Tea Estate :
Ghillidary is a garden situated in the Shivsagar district of Assam. This area is in the Upper Assam Belt but south of Tinsukia and Dibrugarh district. The area is known to produce the finest quality of Assam teas because of its lower rainfall in the monsoon period. It has heavy clayey loam soils, which help in producing bright gutty strong teas. The Golaghat area specialised in producing good quality teas even during the rainy months where the decline in this period is far lesser than other tea growing areas. Ghillidary being a young garden contains lot of young clonal material and therfore is therefore able to produce extremely high quality “orthodox” and “CTC” teas. Ghillidary teas are also special because each clone is treated separately in the factory, depending on its quality parameter. For example a TV-1 requires a shorter fermentation time but produces extremely bright brisk and thick liquoring CTC teas whereas a Panitola P-126 clone produces tippy orthodox teas but weak CTC teas. Panitola has a special flavour which if blended well can impart a good flavour to a strong brew. Ghillidary is famous for their full, gutty, bright and pungent/brisk liquors with unusual 'creaming down' quality. The peak in quality reaches during the 'second flush'. The orthodox variety from this district has abundant bright, golden and chunky tip.

Ghatia Tea Estate :
Ghatia Tea Estate is in North Bengal in the Dooars belt, just below the foothills of Bhutan. It has a mild undulating topography with a gentle slope from North to South. Being on the foothold of Bhutan it enjoys a cooler climate which imparts the extra flavour that is normally missing in the Dooars tea. The red heavy soils gives the extra punch in terms of strength and thickness of the brew. Today Ghatia is by far the most admired and sought after tea in the entire Dooars region. Ghatia also has the ability to produce flavoury orthodox during early March and CTC throughout the year.

Chandighat Tea Estate :
This is an estate which is situated in the North Cachar of Assam, Chandighat has a predominance of Clonal tea and is known to produce bright coloury teas with adequate strength. This combination of brightness and colour with its superior strength makes Chandighat one of the most respected Tea Estate in Cachar. Chandighat has now become the household name and 50% of its produce is sold in the value added form of packets in areas in the vicinity of Cachar. Another 300,000 Kg are sold in value added form of packets in the highly quality conscious areas of Gujarat and Rajasthan. This shows its universal appeal and acceptability as a quality tea. Chandighat also produces quality green teas with high fibre content because it has a substantial quality of P-126 a quality orthodox done with a rich flavour.
